Contagion
of Pandemics

ཉོན་མོངས་འདོད་ཆགས་དྲག་པོའི་དབང་གྱུར་ཏྗེ།།
nyön
mong död chak drak pa’i wang gyur té
The
fierce power of desire and attachment
རང་བྱུང་འབྱུང་ ཁམས་འབགས་བཙོག་དྲི་མས་བསོས།།
rang
jung jung khambak tsok dri mey gö
stains
our naturally beautiful environment with filth
ཕི་ནང་འབྱུང་བ་འཁྲུགས་པའི་རྒྱུ་རྗེན་གིས།།
chi
nang jung wa truk pai gyu kyen gyi
and
stirs up the outer and inner elements,
ས་གཡོས་མྗེ་དགྲ་ཆུ་ལོག་རླུང་འཚུབ་སོགས།།
sa
yö mé dra chu lok lung tsub sok
causing
earthquakes, wildfires, floods, typhoons and more
སྗེམས་ཅན་འབྱུང་བཞིའི་གནོད་པས་མནར་བའི་ཚེ།།
sem chen jung zhi’i nöd pai nar ba’i tsé
When sentient beings suffer harm from the elements,
ཨོ་རྒྱན་འཆི་མྗེད་ཚེ་ལྷར་གསོལ་བ་འདྗེབས།།
orgyan chi mé tse lhar sol wa deb
pray to Orgyen, longevity deity of immortality:
སོད་བཅུད་འབྱུང་བའི་འཇིགས་པ་ཞི་བ་དང་།།
nöd cüd jung wa’i jik pa shi wa dang
Please, quell the destruction of our environment and all it
contains
འབྱུང་འཁྲུགས་ཕི་ཡི་བར་ཆད་ཕི་རུ་སོལ།།
jung truk chi yi bar ché chi ru sol
and externally dispel obstacles from the outer turmoil of the
elements！
ཉོན་མོངས་ཞྗེ་སྡང་གདུག་པའི་དབང་གྱུར་ཏྗེ།།
nyön mong shé dang dug pa’i
wang gyur té
The poisonous power of anger
and aggression
དགྗེ་སྡིག་འཆོལ་ཉོག་དུད་འགྲོ་ཉམས་ཉྗེས་བཏང་།།
ge dik chol nyok düd dro nyam nyé tang
twists virtue and evil, devastates animals
ཟས་སོད་འདུ་བ་འཁྲུགས་པའི་རྒྱུ་རྗེན་གིས།།
zé chöd du wa truk pa’i gyu kyen gyi
and damages health through food and behavior,
ཚ་གྲང་ལྡན་འདུས་གོ་བུར་ཚད་རིམས་སོགས།།
tsa drang den du lo bur tsé rim sok
bringing sudden fevers with chills and heat.
འབྱུང་ལུས་ལན་ཆགས་ནད་འབུས་མནར་བའི་ཚེ།།
jung lu len chak nad ü nar wa’i tse
When there is suffering from viruses, the karmic debt of
bodies,
ཡི་དམ་ཕུར་པའི་ལྷ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདྗེབས།།
yidam phurpa’i lha la sol wa deb
pray to Yidam Kilaya:
ནད་རིམས་འགོ་བའི་ཡམས་ནད་བཟོག་པ་དང་།།
nad rim go ba’i yem ned dok pa dang
Please, end epidemics and pandemics
འདུ་འཁྲུགས་ནང་གི་བར་ཆད་ནང་དུ་སོལ།།
du druk nang gi bar ché nang du sol
and internally, dispel obstacles from inner diseases!
མ་རིག་གཏི་མུག་རོངས་པའི་དབང་གྱུར་ཏྗེ།།
ma rik ti muk mong pa’i wang gyur té
The darkness of unawareness and stupidity
འགྲོ་བའི་སྗེམས་ཁམས་ས་ཚོགས་རོག་པས་བསླད།།
dro wa’i sem chen na tsok tok pé léd
spoils the minds of beings with all kinds of concepts,
སིད་པའི་མ་མོ་འཁྲུགས་པའི་རྒྱུ་རྗེན་གིས།།
sid pa’i ma mo truk pa’i gyu kyen gyi
and rattles the mamos of the world,
མ་མོའི་དལ་ཡམ་འབྱུང་པོའི་རིམས་ནད་སོགས།།
ma mo’i dal yam jung po’i rim nad sok
causing plagues from the mamos, illness from spirits and more.
སྗེམས་ཅན་འགོ་བའི་ནད་ཀིས་མནར་བའི་ཚེ།།
sem chen go wa’i nad kyi nar wa’i tse
When sentient beings are wretched with misfortune from
disease,
ཡྗེ་ཤྗེས་མཁའ་འགྲོའི་ཚོགས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདྗེབས།།
yeshe khandro’i tsok la sol wa deb
pray to the wisdom dakinis:
སང་སིད་མ་མོའི་དལ་ཡམ་ཞི་བ་དང་།།
nang sid ma mo’i dal yam zhi wa dang
Please, throughout all existence, pacify plagues from
the mamos
སྗེམས་འཁྲུགས་གསང་བའི་བར་ཆད་དབིངས་སུ་སོལ།།
sem truk sang wa’i barche ying su sol
and dispel
secret obstacles of mental turmoil into the infinite pure expanse!
ྗེས་པའང་དྗེང་དུས་འཛམ་གིང་ཤར་ནུབ་ཀུན་ཏུ་འགོ་བའི་རིམས་ནད་ཀི་འཇིགས་པ་ཞི་བའི་སླད་དུ།
བོད་ལྕགས་བི་ལོའི་དབོ་ཟའི་ཚེས་
བཅུའི་དུས་སུ་བདུད་འཇོམས་སྤྲུལ་མིང་པ་སངས་རྒྱས་པདྨ་བཞད་པས་སིགས་དུས་འགྲོ་བའི་སྐྱབས་མཆོག་མ་ཧཱ་གུ་རུ་སོགས་ཡི་དམ་རྩ་གསུ
མ་ལྷ་ཚོགས་ལ་གསོལ་བ་ཕུར་ཚུགས་སུ་བཏབ་སྗེ་བིས་པ་དགྗེའོ།།
To quell the destruction caused by the distressful pandemic that is everywhere
in the world these days, Sangye Pema Shepa, one named as an incarnation of
Dudjom, composed this emphatic prayer to the sublime refuge for beings in dark
times, the Mahaguru,and to the yidam and Three Root wisdom deities, on the
tenth day of the second month of the Tibetan Iron Rat Year (April 3, 2020). May
it be virtuous!
